. Patients can lean towards one type or a combination of all three. Children with suspected ADHD are referred by a GP to a specialist that specialises in behavioural disorders such as a
child psychiatrist
or a
developmental paediatrician
. Treatment can include medication,
talk therapies
and management plans.
