. Infusions are a rapid way to remedy depleted iron stores through an intravenous drip.

can administer the infusion. There are three types of IV Iron,

iron polymaltose

(Preferred option) which can be administered all at once or in smaller intervals,

iron sucrose

administered in small doses over a number of days or weeks and

iron carboxymaltose

given as a medium dose once or twice.
