About Hohepa Auckland
Hohepa Auckland offers opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to live, learn and work with others of all abilities in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect. Hohepa provides a comfortable and community oriented home environment with 24-hour support. Those coming to Hohepa benefit from the regular rhythms to the day with everyone sharing in the everyday activities of their household.
Established in 1996 we are certified under the Health & Disability Services (Safety) Act 2001 to provide Residential Disability Services *Intellectual.
Our 3 core services consist of Residential Services – assisting with independent living; Helios Day Services – vocational & community participation; Transition services – for ORS funded students leaving school to integrate into the wider community.
We also operate the South Pacific Educational Courses (SPEC) at our day service. Various courses to extend life skills and further skills to integrate into the community and live the fullest life possible.
