about Dr Balwin Jassal

Dr Balwin Jassal graduated from the University of Aucklands School of Medicine in 2009. He started his medical internship at the Waitemata District Health Board working in North Shore and Waitakere Hospital with varied specialties.

​Between 2011 & 2012, he worked as a surgical registrar in various surgical sub-specialties at Auckland City Hospital. It is during this time, he developed a keen interest in Skin Cancer Management.

He subsequently joined private practice in 2013 and had worked in several Private Practices and Accident & Medical Centres around Auckland.

Dr Jassal brings a friendly and informal approach to consultations and enjoys practicing across the breadth of general practice. He has a keen special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine, and has been active in this field since 2013.

​He has completed post-graduate training in Skin Cancer Management & Treatment (dermoscopy, diagnosis, biopsy and surgical techniques including skin flaps and grafts) and is Accredited by the Skin Cancer College of Australasia
