About Dr Barry Leslie
Barry is a GPSI Skin Cancer Doctor with a special interest in the screening, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer including melanoma.
He is originally from rural Manawatu, and completed his Medical Degree at the University of Otago in 2008, before going on to gain Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
He has further completed advanced skin cancer training in New Zealand and Australia, and holds a Diploma in Dermoscopy, a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine, and a Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery.
Barry is a Southern Cross Affiliated Provider for skin lesions, and an SCCA Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor.
He has a special interest in more complex skin surgery including flap reconstruction and skin grafts, and makes every effort to ensure the best possible cosmetic outcome.
