About Dr Jerzy Nowacki
Jerzy is a phlebologist and director of The Vein Centre in Auckland.
He graduated in 1996, after attending Medical University of Lodz 1990-1996. He then underwent surgical training in Poland and the UK, where he became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
In 2008 he moved to New Zealand and worked at Wellington Hospital. After 4 years he commenced training in the Royal College of GPs, becoming a Fellow in 2015. He then completed advanced training in procedural phlebology, skin cancer medicine and surgery, as well as dermoscopy.
In 2018 he became a director of The Vein Centre, taking over from Mr Rob Fris.
Dr Jerzy Nowacki treats Varicose & Spider Veins. For many years he has been successfully performing Endovenous Laser Ablations (EVLAs), Radiofrequency ablations (RFA), Venaseal (glue) & Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy. He also is skilled in microsclerotherapy for spider veins.
Jerzy is a Fellow of the RNZCGP, a Member of the Australasian College of Phlebology, a founding member of The New Zealand Society of Procedural Phlebology, Skin Cancer College of Australasia, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
