About Dr Michael Zheng
Michael is passionate about medicine and in particular Skin Cancer. It was his special interest while working as a GP and he has sought out the opportunity to work alongside Chris and Andrew to grow this into a full time pursuit. He is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) and a member of the New Zealand Skin Cancer Doctors Society (NZSCDS).
He is now a partner at SkinCheck and is an affiliated Southern Cross provider. Michael splits his time working at Skin Check and Waitemata DHB training with specialists in the management of complex skin cancer surgery. English is Michaels first language but he can also converse in Mandarin and the Shanghai dialect.
Services
Michael's priority is early detection of skin cancer utilising detmatoscopy. This results in better long term outcomes and simpler surgical treatment. For larger or more complex cases, he is also experienced in doing skin grafts or complex flaps.
