about Dr Benjamin Cribb
Benjamin is a specialist colorectal, laparoscopic and general surgeon. He has expertise in complex, minimally invasive, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for a wide range of colorectal and general surgical conditions including; hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, colonoscopy, colon and rectal cancer surgery and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr Cribb completed general surgical training in New Zealand, attaining his fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in general surgery in 2019. Benjamin then completed a further three years of sub-specialty training in colorectal surgery completing the prestigious Australia and New Zealand Training Board in Colon and Rectal Surgery (ANZTBCRS) fellowship training program where he gained extensive experience in the latest robotic and best-practice minimally invasive surgical techniques. His fellowship training included one year in Melbourne at Epworth Hospital, one year in Adelaide at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and one year at North Shore Hospital in Auckland.
Benjamin works as a colorectal surgeon at Tauranga hospital and Grace hospital. Dr Cribb is passionate about offering his patients the highest quality and cutting edge surgical techniques with compassion and care.
