Through this experience, he has gained expertise in treating a wide array of colorectal conditions ranging from complex problems related to colorectal (bowel) cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease), and diverticular disease; to the more common and troubling anorectal conditions such as haemorrhoids, anal fistulas, anal fissures and pilonidal disease. This comes with experience in a range of advanced surgical procedures including minimal invasive techniques such as laparoscopy (key-hole surgery) as well as being accredited to perform colonoscopy through the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). Alongside his subspecialist interest in colorectal surgery, Dr Singh also provides care for general surgical problems such as hernias and gallstones.
Parry is also passionate about research having completed a PhD in surgery through the University of Auckland.
