Paul Samson is a Consultant General Surgeon in Public and Private practice in Invercargill. He completed High School in the Southland region and his medical training at Otago University. Following several years as a junior doctor in Southland Hospital, he went on to complete Specialist General Surgical Training in New Zealands Major Metropolitan Hospitals. He returned to Southland Hospital in 2010 after completing a Fellowship in Breast & Endocrine Surgery at North Shore Hospital, Auckland.
