about Dr Dynes McConnell
Dynes is an experienced New Zealand-trained Gynaecologist. He has learned that excellent Womens health care requires discipline and collaboration. He has been formally trained in advanced gynaecology surgery in the UK and has been practicing in the Wellington, Kapiti, and Hutt regions for the past three decades. He has been responsible for introducing several new minimally invasive techniques to Australasia including single port laparoscopic hysterectomy and second generation endometrial ablation. He has also completed a Doctoral thesis in gynaecology research.
Dynes works closely with a team of high-caliber allied health professionals including a Womens health physiotherapist for pelvic floor and prolapse issues, a Womens health clinical psychologist for sexuality and relationship issues, and nutritionists.
His main consulting rooms are in the Wellington CBD and Hutt Valley, but he is very keen to see services delivered as close to a womens area of residence as possible, so also runs frequent satellite clinics on the Kapiti Coast.
Gynaecology Associates are leading providers of gynaecology services within wider Wellington and Nelson regions. We pride ourselves on comprehensive, women-centred care. Our highly experienced team at Gynaecology Associates include dedicated nurses, womens health physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, and dieticians.
