Dr Padmaja Koya is a New Zealander of Indian origin and graduated in India [basic medical qualification], trained in the UK [Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Laparoscopic Gynaecology] and New Zealand [FRANZCOG]. I have been in Public and private hospital practice for over 25 years and sub-specialist in Laparoscopic Gynaecology.

I practice all aspects of Gynaecology and my special interests include Endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts requiring complex laparoscopy. I am one of very few Gynaecologists who offer total laparoscopic hysterectomy in New Zealand. I also offer surgical management of uterovaginal prolapse.
