About Dr Hasan Bhally
Dr Hasan Bhally is a general physician and an infectious diseases specialist. He was trained in the United Stated and has been practicing at Waitemata DHB since 2005. His areas of interest and expertise include bacterial infections in both medical and surgical patients, hepatitis B and C, travel related infections, and management of home intravenous antibiotic therapy for infections requiring prolonged treatment. In addition, he is actively involved in academia, teaching, clinical research, hospital committees and administrative responsibilities as a clinical lead in acute medicine and infection prevention/control.
