about Dr Jordan Davis
Dr Jordan Davis is a specialist in Musculoskeletal Medicine with a focus on treating painful arthritis or injuries with a minimally invasive approach. After graduating from Otago Medical School, he has worked and trained across many New Zealand hospitals and private practices gaining experience in Orthopaedic Surgery, Radiology and General Practice before training and completing a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine with Distinction.
Dr Davis promotes an evidence-based practice using modern technology, techniques and minimally invasive procedures to manage patients holistically.
Spinal and Peripheral joint Injections:
He performs ultrasound and fluoroscopy (xray) guided injections and non surgical procedures. These include
- facet joint or sacroiliac joint injections for neck and back pain
- transforaminal nerve epidurals for sciatica,
- precision nerve blocks for diagnosing complex pain conditions and
- peripheral injections of the knee, hip, shoulder and other joints and tendons of the body.

For chronic neck pain and low back pain; Radiofrequency Neurotomy can be an effective way to manage neck pain and low back pain if confirmed to be coming from the facet joints.

Platelet Rich plasma Injections
