Angela is an experienced gynaecologist in public practice at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitematā, and in private practice at Auckland Womens Health Institute & The GastroGynae Clinic in Auckland. 

She completed her medical degree at the University of Otago and specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in New Zealand and Australia, including advanced training in minimally invasive surgery at St Vincents Hospital, Sydney.  She previously held consultant roles at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, both in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Chronic Pain Service.

She is passionate about offering comprehensive and holistic care for gynaecological conditions, with a focus on a minimally invasive surgical approach.  Her areas of interest include heavy menstrual bleeding, endometriosis, adenomyosis, and the biopsychosocial management of pelvic pain.

She is fluent in Korean and English.  She holds a Master of Medicine in Pain Management through the University of Sydney.
