about Dr Sarah Corbett

Sarah is a gynaecologist who has completed her fellowship in gynaecological laparoscopy and minimal access surgery, and was awarded an AGES (Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery) qualification in 2016.

She regularly performs complex endometriosis surgery, difficult laparoscopic hysterectomies, and led the way in her hospital with the use of outpatient hysteroscopy to treat polyps and small submucosal fibroids under local anaesthetic. She also performs colposcopy and the treatment of cervical lesions.

She completed her medical training at the University of Auckland, then has worked around New Zealand while completing her specialist training. Currently she is a specialist at Middlemore Hospital.
