about Dr Lior Lipsky
Dr Lipsky has completed his Ophthalmology training at the Tel Aviv Medical Centre in Israel with honours. He then pursued a two-year Anterior Segment and Cornea Fellowship under Professor Graham Barrett at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the Lions Eye Institute in Perth, Western Australia. During this period, he acquired extensive surgical experience in various areas, including complex cataract surgery, premium intraocular lenses, intricate anterior segment surgery, corneal transplant and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. He published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Following this, Dr. Lipsky worked as a Consultant at Tel Aviv Medical Centre in Israel for two years before relocating to New Zealand in 2021. He now works as a consultant at Palmerston North Hospital and consults privately at Eye Associates in Crest Specialist Centre.
