About Dr Andrew Matthews
Mr Andrew Matthews trained in orthopaedic surgery in New Zealand and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
He undertook over 2 years of subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery, knee surgery and trauma at large teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has also previously completed a diploma in sports and exercise medicine in the UK.
Mr Matthews is currently a consultant at Capital and Coast DHB and his private practice is based at Southern Cross Hospital - Wellington, for both consultation and surgery.
