Grant lives and works in Wellington, and is a fully trained Orthopaedic Surgeon and Fellow of the New Zealand orthopaedic Association. He has been an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Wellington for over 13 years.

He trained in New Zealand and has a post graduate fellowship training in shoulder surgery from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, England (1997) and knee replacement and sport surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney (1998).

He has extensive experience in Knee Replacement Surgery, Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Posterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction and Osteotomies around the Knee. He also has performs Shoulder Surgery.
