About Mr Jeremy Stanley
Jeremy is a general Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in sports injuries.
Jeremy has a unique insight into the understanding of sports injuries, having suffered many himself during a sporting career which saw him play rugby for the All Blacks, Otago Highlanders and Auckland Blues. He has also played softball at an international level for New Zealand and Samoa.
Jeremys interests include sports injuries of the knee. His passion is treating athletes with injury to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) having suffered two major ACL injuries himself whilst playing professional rugby.
Jeremys research currently involves ensuring there are clinical regulations in place for patients safe return to sport following ACL reconstruction.
