Stuart practiced as a consultant surgeon for six years in the United Kingdom before relocating to New Zealand in 2021. He is an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist with sub speciality interests in Head & Neck Cancer, TransOral Robotic Surgery (TORS) and Thyroid surgery. He is the current chair of the Central Region Head & Neck Cancer Network & sits on the regional tumour boards for both Head & Neck & Thyroid cancers.
