I work with complex, comorbid & treatment-resistant presentations, including those where mental health difficulties & physical symptoms coexist. The two are often assessed and treated separately rather than holistically. I assess and treat both, addressing the symptoms whilst also targeting the mechanisms perpetuating the presentation.

Mood & anxiety disorders, burnout, perinatal & reproductive mental health, adult ADHD, treatment-resistant presentations, fatigue & post-viral presentations, & psychiatric presentations coexisting with metabolic, hormonal, sleep or inflammatory problems.

Second opinions on diagnosis or medication sequencing. Medication review in the context of limited response or poor tolerance.

Assessment covers sleep, metabolic, hormonal & nutritional function alongside the psychiatric presentation & establishes which factors are holding the others back.

Medically supervised, home-based transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) is available through our clinic for depression where there are barriers to optimising pharmacological treatment. Treatment is provided for use at home. Please enquire for more information.

To make the first appointment as useful as possible, where possible, please include: all current medications with doses; mental state, risk & treatment history (medical & psychiatric); recent blood test results; blood pressure; heart rate; & cardiac examination. Anthropometrics, including waist & wrist circumference, are also very useful additions to weight & height.

Referrals are accepted without these, and any outstanding investigations can be arranged after assessment.
