About Dr Greg Frazer
Greg is a NZ trained Specialist Respiratory Physician, now seeing patients with all respiratory conditions in private practice, where he practices at 53 Straven Rd
After graduating from Otago University in 1995 Greg spent his initial post graduate years in Blenheim, Christchurch and Auckland. He commenced advanced training in Respiratory Medicine and General Medicine at Christchurch Hospital in 2002 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2006 following further training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the University of Edinburgh in the UK, and The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
He returned to Christchurch in 2007 and has been a specialist Respiratory Physician at Christchurch Hospital since then, providing inpatient and outpatient care to patients with a wide variety of respiratory conditions.
He has special interests in Cystic Fibrosis and in Lung Cancer. Greg was clinical director of the respiratory department from 2021 until stepping down in early 2021.
