About Dr Janice Wong
Dr Janice Wong graduated from the University of Melbourne 1995 and carried out most of her post-graduate medical training in New Zealand. She completed her specialist training in Thoracic and Sleep Medicine in Auckland and Hamilton in 2004. Her initial consultancy position was Respiratory and General Physician in North Shore Hospital where she also had a role as Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Auckland.
She returned to Hamilton to work as a Respiratory Physician in 2006 and was the president of the Asthma Waikato Society from 2007-2010. Her special interests include Interventional Bronchoscopy, Cystic Fibrosis, Respiratory and Exercise Physiology, as well as all aspects of General Respiratory Medicine.
