Dr Omeed Howey

Dr. Omeed Howey provides skin cancer services at our Merivale clinic in Christchurch.

His wealth of previous experience at Christchurch Hospital included registrar roles in general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery & otolaryngology, & more recently he has worked in several Christchurch GP practices, including Doctors of Riccarton, University of Canterbury Health Centre, Riccarton Clinic & Afterhours, Promed & Upper Riccarton Medical Centre.

He says the opportunity to be able to detect skin cancers early & the big impact this can have on patient outcomes is what excites him about his new role
