about Family Success Matters
Kia ora, Welcome, Talofa, Kia orana, Malo elelei, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Ni sa bula vinaka, Namaste!
Family Success Matters has been offering family social services & free family support for parents with infants in South Auckland and Franklin, since 2005.
Our purpose is to ensure that every child has a safe home & can reach their full potential.
Our main service is Family Start a free long-term home-visiting social services programme that partners with doctors, midwives, educational services, NGOs & government agencies to improve the health & safety of children. Parents can also self-refer to this programme.
The programme is available for whānau with pregnant mums or infants up to two years old.
At our office in Wiri, we also offer the Incredible Years free parenting course, for 3-to 8-years-olds & the Fathers for Families programme to support fathers and male care givers.

We reduce the risk of fatal accidents during sleep and promote safe parenting practices that get babies into routines.
Better family relationships
The programme helps whānau reduce fighting and arguing. We also have other programmes just for dads or dealing with kids tantrums.
Family violence intervention
The Fathers for Families programme is a programme for dads. Many of our dads feel alienated from health and social services. Many have had a history in the criminal justice system. They may feel there is nowhere for them to go to be the dad they really want to be. This programme is for them.
