Vascular Surgeon. Diagnose and treat all blood vessel problems from stroke prevention surgery, aneurysms (dilated arteries) and blocked peripheral arteries to varicose veins. Vascular ultrasound scanning. Senior lecturer at the Otago Medical School.

Dr Kes Wicks has interests in:

• Open AAA, carotid, peripheral and venous surgery
• Endovascular surgery in all the above vascular subspecialties
• Special interest in endovenous radio frequency ablation
• AAA stent grafting
• Peripheral angioplasty and stenting
• Also trained in vascular ultrasound.
