about Mr Mark Morgan

Mr Mark Morgan qualified from London University in 1989 and trained in Vascular and General Surgery in London and the South-East of England. Mr. Morgan was awarded (with distinction) a Masters Degree in Vascular Science and Technology from Imperial College London in 1997, at which time he created the VascuQol questionnaire - an internationally renowned quality of life measure for patients with peripheral vascular disease.

Moving to Tauranga in 2004 Mark has been active in improving Vascular surgical services to the Bay of Plenty and remains dedicated to providing services to the public health sector.

He was one of the first Vascular Surgeons to provide Endovenous Laser therapy to patients with varicose veins in New Zealand, and is now one of the most experienced providers in the country. He has been awarded Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Phlebology.
