Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD) refers to symptoms of back or neck pain caused by wear-and-tear on a spinal
disc
. In some cases, degenerative disc disease also causes weakness, numbness and shooting pains in the arms or legs. Treatment for mild to moderate pain, can include medications and physical therapy. For more severe cases a procedure called aspinal fusion
