About Dr Manish Khanolkar
Manish is a Physician and Endocrinologist with special interest in Diabetes working at Auckland DHB (Auckland city hospital and Greenlane clinical centre).
After completing his graduate/post-graduate education in India (MBBS, Goa University, 1995; MD, Mumbai University, 1999), he moved to the UK to work in the NHS and complete his specialist training in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine (MRCP UK 2002, MD, Cardiff University 2009). He is currently on the Specialist Register of the GMC, UK. He was appointed as a Specialist Physician by Auckland DHB in 2009 where he is currently working and is the clinical lead for the young adult and inpatient diabetes service. He is actively pursuing his research interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology through collaborative work with the University of Auckland and the Human Nutrition Unit having published widely in peer reviewed medical journals.
