Dr Ausha De Silva is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical expertise. He consults privately at Boulcott Hospital in Lower Hutt and Bowen Hospital in Wellington, while also serving as the Clinical Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Hutt Hospital, Te Whatu Ora.
Dr De Silva provides specialist assessment and management for women with a broad range of gynaecological conditions, including those requiring advanced laparoscopic, open abdominal, pelvic floor, and hysteroscopic surgery. In 2014, he was awarded the prestigious British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Travel Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, which he completed at the Womens and Childrens Hospital in Adelaide.
