I have done my undergraduate studies at the University of the Free States Medical School and qualified in 1993.
Practiced as a General Practitioner before starting my Postgraduate studies at the University of Pretoria. Received a Masters of Medicine - Orthopaedic surgery in April 2003.
I was in full time private practise from 2003 to 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I have emigrated to New Zealand in June 2019 and is living and practicing as Orthopaedic surgeon in Rotorua.
Motivated by the fast evolving technologies and surgical techniques in Orthopaedic surgery, I am committed to keep up to date with these developments. I am visiting leading Orthopaedic surgeons and attending national and international congresses on a regular basis. This allows me to improve my surgical skills and ultimately patients care.
