about Anglesea Sports Medicine

We offer a referral based service for the evaluation of ACC, sports and all other musculoskeletal injuries, plus medical problems relating or impacting on physical activity or athletic performance. We provide treatment advice and specific interventions including joint and soft tissue injections, plus referral to orthopaedic and other specialists when necessary.

  • All ACC related referrals must include the ACC claim details and there is no surcharge under ACC.
  • Imaging, such as MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and bone scans can also be arranged in appropriate circumstances.
  • We are accredited providers for carded athletes under High Performance Sport New Zealand.
