Jim Duthie is a Urological Surgeon who sub-specialises in Robotic Surgery and the management of prostate cancer and benign prostate disease. Mr Duthie uses leading edge tools in the diagnosis, surgery & management of Prostate Cancer. Mr Duthie has a degree in Psychology and a post-graduate certificate in Human Nutrition in order to offer the best possible care for men with prostate cancer.
Mr Duthie offers treatment for general Urological conditions like: Kidney stones-ureteroscopy & laser lithotripsy, Bladder cancer-endoscopic management, Testicular problems, Penile problems, Continence, Diagnosis, surgery & management of Prostate Cancer. Mr Duthie is a fellowship-trained robotic surgeon who mentors in robotic surgery for prostate cancer. Mr Duthie is a leader in treatment for Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, was the first surgeon in New Zealand to perform the Urolift procedure and has extensive experience in a range of treatments including HoLEP, ThuLEP, and TURP.
