about Dr Peter Carr-Boyd

I offer general surgical and specialist surgical care for cancer and other conditions of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, adrenals and stomach including weight loss (bariatric) surgery (rfynd.co.nz). I have specific training and interest in minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) approaches and also perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

I also offer a range of general surgical procedures including laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic cholecystectomy and skin cancer removal.

I have completed a Master of Surgery in Upper gastroinstestinal surgery and have completed The Harvard Medical School Surgical Leadership Program.  I have a wife and three children and enjoy skiing, rock climbing (in which Im a certified guide) and triathlon.
My training and experience allows me to ensure the right decision has been made to undergo surgery, to ensure patients are as well prepared as possible, and to ensure that they are properly (and safely) cared for before, during and after surgery.

A team to help your patients lose weight and gain health.
