A comprehensive and streamlined diagnostic service for patients with prostate cancer symptoms, led by the Urology Institute Specialists from OneSixOne Medical Group, that combines the expertise of leading urologists with the support of a multi-disciplinary team.

Referred patients will experience:

A fast-tracked comprehensive diagnostic service including:

  • Rapid access to MRI, specialist and nurse specialist appointments
  • Fast-tracked access to biopsies - if required
  • Reduced need for multiple unnecessary appointments

Access to a multi-disciplinary team enabling:

  • A seamless approach to patient assessment and management
  • Specialised care from urologists, radiologists, radiation and medical oncologists, physiotherapists and nurse specialists
  • Active participation in decision making throughout their treatment journey

A nurse specialist assigned from the first appointment:

  • Serves as the patients key contact throughout their journey
  • Available for post-surgery support for up to six months

Referral Info

When to refer:
Patients can be referred to the Prostate Clinic if they have not previously had a diagnosis of prostate cancer and have one out of three of the following eligibility criteria:
1. Family history of prostate cancer
2. Elevated PSA - repeated after six weeks
before GP referral
3. Abnormal digital rectal exam (DRE)
