is a surgeon who specilaises in treating cancer of both the male and female

urinary tract

and male reproductive organs.

Urologic oncology

concerns the surgical treatment of malignant genitourinary diseases such as

prostate cancer

and

cancer

of the adrenal glands, bladder, kidneys, ureters, testicles, and penis. Minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy or endourology, robotic-assisted surgery) are normally used to manage urologic cancers conducive to surgical management.
